WORTH'S DAUGHTER DISCOVERS BODY

Businessman William Worth's daughter, Keira Darcy, was of interest to police yesterday when she called 911 to report her discovery of a body. Meti Nasser, an employee at the Piers-based coffee shop Revitalize on 84th and Bleeker Street, was found dead in the alleyway behind the business last night. Miss Darcy was in the process of completing a barista application when she realized Ms. Nasser had not returned from throwing out the garbage.

Ms. Nasser was pronounced dead at the scene; no attempts were made to revive her. According to those who saw the body before it was transported to Lenox Hill, the only to distinguishing marks that could have possibly caused her death were two identical puncture wounds on the neck. Rumors among staff members at the hospital continue to spread, saying that Ms. Nasser's official cause of death is blood loss; however, police are still investigating this horrific event.

Nasser's body was carted away to Lenox Hill for further examination.

A official connection has yet to have been made by police connecting Ms. Nasser's death to the rising murder toll within Manhattan, but many are beginning to speculate a pattern. More facts will be released when they become available.

ALEXIOU INDUSTRIES TO MOVE

Famed Industrialist and Entrepreneur Christopher Alexiou has announced that the Alexiou Industries' World Headquarters will move from London, England to New York City, New York. Many details are still unknown at this moment in time; however, it is rumored that the new facility itself is nearly up and running, even as much as 90% done some confirm. Several sources claim the move was prompted by officials in London putting pressure of Mr. Alexiou over the usage of his weapons in the recent violent attacks in the Middle East.

Plans for Alexiou Industries' Manhattan HQ, left.
The company's namesake, Mr. Alexious himself, right.

When attempting to confirm this claim, no comment from
Mr. Alexiou could be received. Alexiou Industries is a global weapons manufacturer and distributor known for its revolutionary designs. The Alexiou name is highly credited for many of the advances in modern warfare. The company itself is privately owned, but there have been rumors of the company itself going public. Christopher Alexiou has denied these rumors repeatedly, but he also denied the change of location for the World Headquarters. We'll see what comes of this.

ATTACKS ON MADISON AVENUE

Yesterday afternoon, authorities arrived at Madison Avenue where witnesses say a bloody scene occurred behind the closed curtains of a VIP dressing room. Police were summoned once shoppers heard crashes coming from the store’s VIP area and reported the noise to staff. An employee who went to assess the situation says she saw “a mess” and “two women struggling.” She also says a third person involved, a young man, was present but “just lying on the floor.”

“I didn’t want to endanger myself,” she later confessed, “And now I’m glad I didn’t. I just wish nobody had gotten hurt.” One of the attack’s initiators, an unidentified elderly man, killed three officers before fleeing the scene, shooting two with their own service weapons and breaking the neck of the third. A “small, dark-haired female” seen attacking a “red-headed girl” is believed to have made her escape earlier, as she could not be found at the scene.

The two targets of the attack, Mr. Neil Verere and Miss Josie Higgins (pictured above), were rushed to Lenox Hill for their injuries immediately after the arrival of the NYPD, but some officials say the two should be grateful they escaped with their lives. Mr. Verere and Miss Higgins have yet to give their official statements to police, but those looking into the event say they have several leads. One currently being investigated involves this month's skyrocketing murder rate.

The New York Police Department is now operating under the belief that the two responsible for yesterday’s Madison Avenue attack have cooperated to commit these murders. More information on the search for these criminals will be released when available.

TRAGEDY FOR CHARITY

The NYC Blood Bank has been working hard throughout the holiday season to raise money for the construction of a St. Jude Children's Hospital in Corcovado, Brazil. Founding members of the board took a special interest in the project and traveled down this past Friday to survey the final blueprints and details. The NYC Blood Bank refuses to make a statement, but it has been reported that on the way back to the United States extremely strong winds caused the plane to crash into the side of the Appalachian Mountains. Rescue workers didn't arrive on the scene until hours after the crash had taken place but the impact was so severe passenger survival past the initial impact is next to impossible.
Dorothea Rockefeller, Brooks Stewart, Cushing Carondolet, Nan Culter, Dashiell Van Horn, Esme Schlumberger, Edmund Oelrich, and Eliza Dupont were among the dead. Since no statements are being given as to who was all on the plane we can only speculate. Needless to say it is a sad day in NYC. The board of the NYC Blood Bank were fine individuals who graduated at the top of their class, great contributors to society.

We are assured plans for St. Jude are still in the works, and that the hospital wings will be named in honor of those who have passed in this horrific tragedy.
